Justin Miller is a graduate of The Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, where he studied bassoon with Sol Schoenbach. Mr. Miller played principal bassoon with the Philadelphia Chamber Orchestra, Philadelphia Opera and Ballet, Trenton Symphony, Lansdowne Symphony, Bach and Handel Chorale and various other groups in the greater Philadelphia area.

 

Mr. Miller founded Miller Marketing, a electronics-based, manufacturers-representative company in 1983 that specialized in high-end audio and video products. He introduced Sound Lab microphones – highly miniaturized microphones for stringed instruments that insert inside the instrument – to the Hollywood Bowl and Barbara Streisand Orchestra. In 1994, Mr. Miller started the exclusive importation of Moosmann bassoons and accessories for the double reed market, thus finding the ideal intersection between his exceptional musical training and extensive marketing expertise.

Today Mr. Miller operates Nobel Instruments and Miller Marketing, offering a complete range of products for double reed players worldwide.
